JoeSNMP Eclipse Plugin

The project is basically an eclipse plugin that listens for SNMP Trap broadcasts. It uses JoeSNMP as the core SNMP implementation.

This plugin is still very much in the works. Still , at the current state , it is functionally usable for development purposes. It is able to receive SNMP V2 traps.

System Requirements

JRE 1.5 and above
Eclipse 3.2 and above (most probably should work with 3.0 and above)
Tested only on Windows XP , but no reason why it should not work for other OS that Eclipse supports

Sources

The source code is not available yet. Once the code base have been more stable , it will be released.

Installation

Download the zip file and unzip to a temporary directory
From the unzip location , copy the file plugin/com.webvertices.joesnmp.eclipse_x.jar into Eclipse's plugin directory
If Eclipse is already running , restart Eclipse
To uninstall , delete the com.webvertices.joesnmp.eclipse_x.jar from Eclipse's plugin directory and restart Eclipse
